Gather the hair into a high ponytail, divide it into two sections and wrap each section around the padded rod. The attached scrunchie twists around the wrapped hair to help keep everything in place while the style sets.

The smooth satin surface is designed to create less friction against the hair than a rough, uncovered curler. Use it overnight or leave it in for several hours to create soft curls, rounded movement or a refreshed blow-dried look without relying on a curling iron.

Begin with smooth, detangled hair.
For best overnight results, use on dry or almost completely dry hair.
Gather all the hair into a high ponytail on top of the head.
Place the Heatless Curling Scrunchie around your wrist.
Pull the scrunchie over the base of the ponytail.
Divide the ponytail into two even sections.
Wrap one section firmly and evenly around one side of the padded curling rod.
Wrap the second section around the opposite side.
Twist the attached scrunchie into a figure-eight shape.
Bring the scrunchie over the wrapped hair to secure it in place.
Leave the hair wrapped for several hours or overnight.
Gently release the scrunchie and unwind the hair without pulling.
Separate and arrange the curls using your fingers.

Wrapping more tightly generally creates greater definition, while a looser wrap creates softer movement. Results vary according to hair length, texture, preparation, wrapping tension and setting time.
